Skyline, like a waveform A dance of peaks and valleys of adamantine brick and crumbling mortar Lifetimes, like a great storm, advance til dissipation And the next one seems just a bit shorter Permanence is a laughable delusion  It lacks imagination Like the grownup who never left his hometown As solid states approach their dissolution  You might contend it’s not quite the end  But don't pretend it’s never gonna break down System, a contraption A beast or living blueprint yet intangible until it’s made real Wistful for the rapture, remembering too late it takes an apocalypse  And how does it feel?  You can watch a star turned inside out  From the comfort of your bathtub  But never mind the karma that you’ve racked up Curious how it all began to move the whole world at a standstill  Still, it’s headed for a landfill  Empire, like an illness Metastasizing grandeur overtakes itself just to sustain it Wildfire into stillness, upon the concrete jungle as its architects  Fail to contain it
2.
All around the wheel of deal we feel and we go  Understand the deal, we’re here and they get, we go  They singing all fine, all mine, to the window  Everywhere you see the wheel it feel where we go  Men with heat will seal the deal and we be heroes  You bet it’s surefire, your tire full of shrapnel  One day you’ll find your spool unwind  Don’t make it wait  It’s much too late  La la la la la…  Don’t forget the wheel it steal the real that we know  Down the street careens upon the heels of people  It’s singing don’t cry, it’s your time, through the window  One day you’ll find your life unwind  Don’t fear, no fear  Look up, it’s already here  On the scrap heap On the scrap heap On the scrap heap Every single little one  On the scrap heap On the scrap heap On the scrap heap Every single little one

Several lights, the street is filled with static tonight Amazing view, I'm above the rooftops, observing the few When I'm up here, I can master kindness through investigation And when I'm below, the negative mass calls for interrogation I'm inflated!! Yet soft just the same Making the move to level off the name of the game I'm the Mish’lin Man My heart is 30 stories high I'll do what I can And my girlfriend is home and together we'll be free The Mish’lin Man Memories of him floating away Holding evil hostage, I'm packed with spears of love Tires under my belt Rolling to town with my big white glove Fingerprint dusting the news of the day I can see below, the swirling river of tears I'll state my case to the mountain of fears The Mish’lin man

Yeah, Na naw ma nee ma naw ma Yeah, na naw ma nee ma naw ma now  Na ma Now Why do you run no stay? No where to run no stay.  Why do you run no stay?  No where to run No!"
5.
Stand up high and look around  Do you stand on shaky ground No need to fight to defend your crown Start it once then start again I think we started out as friends Turn it Turn into a battleground Oh to learn that you’d nearly drowned How the trees refuse to lean  Don’t want to get too close  Afraid to limit growth Let the light in all around Does it have to be so hard for the duration I don’t really want a war, just conversation It’s kinda like a lost and found And I like when you’re around How can I help you get up off the ground
6.
Everything you say I take the wrong way I don’t know it’s just a game I guess Twisting the meaning like it’s something I can fold and break apart, snap and turn I can live without it I can live my life  Nothing that you say can make me change my mind If there is any meaning I can find it now to analyze, snap and turn I think we’re free now but this is the price Every silence feels like it’s a mile wide If anybody asks just say it didn’t work Spare the many reasons it won’t matter now All I ever wanted was remaining love but what I got was snap and turn What I got was snap and turn What I got was snap and turn

Superheroes 02:33
Superheroes, they’re not zeroes I’d like to see one, I’d like to be one Jump tall buildings, in a single bound Land on my feet, then kiss the ground Flash is faster, than I can see Supergirl is the one to be Captain Marvel does what she can But there’s somethin’ fishy ‘bout Aquaman Aquaman, Aquaman Trident spear is the thing to fear Sushi dinner is in the plan But there’s somethin’ fishy ‘bout Aquaman He rides around on a dolphin’s back He talks to whales and that’s a fact If you’re under water, then he’s your man But there’s somethin’ fishy ‘bout Aquaman Spiderman is a swingin’ cat Robin hangs out with a bat Captain America I’m a fan But there’s somethin’ cool about Aquaman Superman and the Wolverine Wonder Woman is on the scene Iron Man can lend a hand But I think I wanna’ be Aquaman Aquaman, Aquaman I think I wanna’ be Aquaman
8.
Call it out when you know you’re right Here we go again I don’t want to put up a fight again Didn’t I see this once? And I think I’ve been here before I can show myself the door Here we are for the 100th time again I don’t know where to draw the line Here we go again I know I told you once Oh but I told you twice before If I say once more It’s your life Is it like you say  I just want to go away Can we do this another time Here we go again Don’t you know I don’t care who’s right  Again Here we go
9.
I feel we’ve been down this road As we kneel with our souls on the floor And with this new horizon, eyes ablaze We'll begin to unravel this twisted maze With hearts and bones It’s safe to say You’re my clone You’re my clone Zero separation in a mindful sense Minus spoken words, we mend the fence Just one touch we’re electrified We can learn everything as we're side by side With hearts and bones It’s safe to say You’re my clone You’re my clone With hearts and souls Each and every day You’re my clone You’re my clone We’ve traveled many years ago With hearts and bones It’s safe to say You’re my clone You’re my clone With hearts and souls Each and every day You’re my clone You’re my clone

When you know  that someone can see you  It’s hard to do  what you really want to It’s so easy to wonder  Am I good enough?  Oh no, I’m not really good enough.  I want to grow As big as an ocean  But all I know  Is restricted motion And I always wonder  Am I good enough? Well no. Is anyone ever good enough? Jump in, the water’s fine Maybe I’ll get better with time Will I ever  Have that ocean view  When all I do  Is compare myself to you  Jump in, the water’s fine

Loneliness 02:37
My home is dark Within my windows Outside the moon is covered By a silvery pillow It’s calm and peaceful Maybe I can stay forever In my head I want you to know loneliness is only an illusion It’s no stronger than me I want you to stay Occupy this space with me together Alone, alone with me We could be something But we don’t have to be We can just enjoy the silence We can let it breathe Strangely we are never more apart than when we are together… I want you to know loneliness is only an illusion It’s no stronger than me I want you to stay Occupy this space with me together Alone, alone with me Alone, alone with me

about

Conduit Of Humanity San Francisco, California

In 2018 Fred Jeske went to ToddStock West at Camp Navarro hoping to widen his artistic collaborations. He made new friends and realized that this could become a lifelong project. 9/20 brings the first of a 2-part series named Equality, a mix of men and women, established and up-and-coming musicians. Most songs were made by sending tracks via DropBox and adding to each other’s ideas. ... more
